IMPACT Venue Solicitation/CD Submission Policy
********
It is neither the policy nor the practice of IMPACT, D'Shed Records or BAM Productions to solicit performance venues or recording contracts in any manner other than through the submission of an introductory promotional package.
IMPACT and its subsidiaries, D'Shed Records and BAM Productions, do not make follow-up calls or send unsolicited secondary correspondence through email or regular mail to any recipients of their promo pack.
IMPACT is confident that its promotional materials - cover letter, demo, bio, photo, business card - adequately reflect the group's talents, experience and professionalism.
IMPACT -- Michael Dennis, Brian Davis and Timothy Bryant -- recognizes and accepts the fact that tastes in music abound. The group respects the judgement of those planning performance venues to either accept or reject (without question or attempted coercion) IMPACT's participation in those events and appreciates the abilities of A&R representatives to make informed decisions (based on the material submitted in the promotional package) as to whether or not the group meets their recording criteria.
ONLY promotional materials submitted by the group's publicist are valid.
The literal promo packs ALWAYS will be accompanied by a signed cover letter, written on official IMPACT stationery.
If an electronic portfolio is submitted (via TalentMatch), it will be FOLLOWED AT ONCE by an email sent from IMPACT's official email address.
And ONLY Michael Dennis, the group's appointed representative, is authorized by IMPACT to conduct ANY type of contract negotiations.
If you are contacted by anyone other than IMPACT's publicist or group representative, please notify us immediately by email.
